Well done for completing your learning dip poster. I like how you used a picture of mountains and outlined, 'The Dip.' I thought this was clever. It was interesting that you used the concept of a policeman catching a robber although I'm not sure this completely relates to the 'learning dip.' I am pleased that after being asked you went back and explained what the learning dip was a bit more. I hope to see you using resilience, reflecting on your mistakes and focus when you need to get out of the learning dip this year. Ka pai.
To my boys, this was a very amusing poster. I think the robber and policeman lego pieces may reflect all the hours of imaginative play you do at home with your lego games, and how the 'goodie' always manages to catch the 'baddie' even when it seems impossible. While you are alive on this earth, you never stop learning so the 'learning dip' skills are life long skills which can help you in any situation. It is nice that you worked on this poster with each other. From Mum
